Sipho has a PV rooftop installation certificate from Enel Green Power, N6 in electrical engineering, Trade Test and S4 in mechanical engineering with 7 years of experience as a technician. He is a part time facilitator at VH Consulting Engineers; he has also done training at Eskom training centre for Operation and Regulations of High Voltage Systems. The two major projects he has work on include the Gautrain Project and Water Kloof Airport doing the following: Operating, Testing, Repairing and Maintaining of electrical equipment. He has experience on the following aspects: Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPSs), Diesel Engine Generator (DEGs), Transformers (TXs), Ring Main Unit (RMUs) or Medium Voltage Switch (MVS), Battery Tripping Unit (BTU), Low Voltage Switch or Main Distribution Boards, Emergency motor vehicle, Basic Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Fire Alarm Panel (FAPs) and its Accessories, Power Cables (both Medium Voltage and Low Voltage), Conduit, Lighting Circuits, Socket Outlet Plugging Circuits Controlling Components such as; contactors, Relays, Fuses, Timers, Switches, Valves, Printed Circuit Board Cards, etc.

Greg is experienced in managing large scale metering, energy management systems and energy efficiency projects and has secured over R30m in industrial and research funding for industrial related projects. He specializes in freeing up project operational capital through no and low cost interventions thus minimizing the need for clients to raise project capital. He assisted the University of KwaZulu-Natal to make over R54 million in energy savings and assisted the Durban Water Waste division of the eThekwini municipality in conjunction with the CSIR and UNIDO to achieve a 12% energy reduction for one of their waste water treatment plants and for which they recently won an award.
Greg currently practices as both a sole proprietor and director of Exponential Energy (Pty) Ltd as well as being a strategic partner to several specialist consulting firms and mentoring young BBBEE energy focused startups.
Greg is currently appointed as an energy expert panel consultant for the eThekwini Energy Office and assists in compiling EEDSM proposal and also technical assessments of energy projects and reports. He is also currently appointed as a consultant for the USAID SA-LED program to provide technical assistance and support for municipalities for EEDSM applications and energy audits for buildings and waste water treatment and fresh water treatment plants in terms of real-time and historical web based operational and management dashboard and metering systems, energy and tariff analysis for operational cost savings.
Menzi has a Diploma in HVAC and refrigeration. He has an N6 in electrical engineering. He worked for HTA for 5 years doing industrial cooling systems.
He has performed HVAC & Refrigeration work for the following institutions among others: Sibanye Gold, Southern Sun Hotels, Pepsi Cola, Elangeni College, and Department of Public Works & South Africa National Defence Force.
